Jacob's Quest Wines(JQ) A new visitor to the Cherry Festival.

The team from Jacob’s Quest Wines made the trip to Ficksburg all the way from Malmesbury in the Western Cape to introduce and show these 2 lovely, fun wines to the visitor's at the 2009 Festival.

Die span van Jacob's Quest wyne het al die pad van Malmesbury in die Wes-Kaap gereis om the wonderlike JQ wyne aan die besoekers by die 2009 Fees bekend te stel.

The stormy weather did not put any hamper on the daily activities in the marquee and by the comments, tasting and buying of JQ wines at the stand, it showed that the wines were well received by all the visitors.

Die stormagtige weer het nie die Fees binne die markiestent gedemp nie.  As daar gekyk word na die opmerkings en die hoeveelheid wyn wat geproe en verkoop is, dui dit daarop dat die wyne baie goed ontvang is.

There was also an introduction of JQ wines at the daily workshops held in the Main Hall on the festival grounds.  Once again JQ had an excellent response from the crowd.  The versatility of the JQ products were shown by mixing the wines with some of the local cherries and cherry liquer to produce a wonderful cocktail in line with the Festival theme.  With this these two wines have defnitely shown that they are versatile and can be used in a variety of ways to get the maximum amount of fun out of the wines.

Daar was ook die bekendstelling van JQ wyne in die vorm van werkswinkels wat daagliks gehou is.  Die JQ wyne het baie positiewe terugvoering gekry van die gretige gehoor.  Die veeldoeligheid van die JQ produkte is beklemtoon deur die wyne met van die plaaslike kersies en -kersielikeur te vermeng om ‘n verfrissende mengeldrankie te skep.

As more and more people are introduced to the JQ products the demand for the wines on the local shelves are increasing by the day.  This has resulted in a national listing with Makro which will have the wines on their shelves shortly.

Soos meer mense aan die JQ wyne bekendgestel word groei die aanvraag na die wyn op die plaaslike winkelrakke op ‘n daaglikse basis.  Dit het veroorsaak dat Makro die wyn nasionaal op sy rakke gaan lys sodat die wyne binnekort beskikbaar sal wees.
